Crypto Risk Disclosure
Last updated
Ruqora research can help you understand a token. It cannot remove market risk, and no classification guarantees an outcome. Read this before relying on Ruqora information.
1. Extreme volatility and total loss
Crypto assets are extremely volatile. Memecoins and newly launched tokens often lose most or all of their value, sometimes within minutes. Many have no underlying business or value. Only risk money you can afford to lose entirely, and consider your own circumstances.
2. Liquidity, slippage and execution
Liquidity can be withdrawn or drained suddenly, leaving a token impossible to sell at a meaningful price. Prices shown may not be achievable: slippage, fees, network congestion, failed transactions and front-running can change the result. Blockchain transactions are usually irreversible, and sending to a wrong address or interacting with a malicious contract can cause permanent loss.
3. Manipulation and scams
Memecoin markets are prone to manipulation: coordinated buying, wash trading, bundled wallets, insiders and creators selling into demand, fake volume and misleading token information. Activity that looks organic may be staged.
4. Stale, missing or wrong data
Ruqora depends on blockchain nodes (RPC), indexing and market-data services. They can be delayed, rate-limited, unavailable or inconsistent, so prices, liquidity, holder data and states can be stale or missing. Bonding-curve progress, graduation and pool migration are complex and can be read incorrectly, especially around the moment a token migrates. Check the freshness shown in the application.
5. Classifications are assessments, not guarantees
HOT means a token was surfaced for attention. It does not mean safe, recommended or likely to rise. Risk states are assessments of available on-chain evidence under defined criteria and can be wrong in both directions: a token can be flagged incorrectly (a false positive) or a dangerous token can show no warning (a false negative). Conditions can change right after an assessment.
RUGGING means the evidence matched Ruqora’s criteria for liquidity being drained from a token’s pool or bonding curve while it is happening; RUGGED means it matched the criteria for a completed drain. Either label is an assessment of token and wallet activity, not a legal finding that any person committed fraud or acted with intent.
6. Incomplete wallet attribution
Links between wallets, creators, insiders and “smart money” are inferred from public activity. One person can control many wallets and unrelated wallets can look connected, so attributions can be incomplete or wrong. Observed activity does not establish anyone’s identity or intent.
7. AI research limits
Agent answers are produced by AI models. They can be inaccurate, rely on incomplete or outdated evidence, misread data or state wrong conclusions confidently. Treat them as a starting point for your own checks.
8. Public blockchain risks
Activity on a public blockchain is visible to everyone and permanent. Your wallet addresses, balances and transactions can be analyzed by anyone, including other research tools. Smart-contract bugs, protocol failures and network outages can affect assets outside Ruqora’s control.
9. Your decisions
Ruqora does not execute trades or give personal advice, and past research results do not predict future outcomes. You are responsible for your decisions and for checking current conditions. Consider independent professional advice where appropriate.
